Ted's Montana Grill Brings
"The Big Sky Spirit" to Beechwood
Ted’s Montana Grill has officially opened at Beechwood Shopping Center, marking the brand’s very first location in Athens.
The restaurant opened its doors on Monday, August 24, becoming Ted’s 12th location in Georgia. Founded in 2002 by Ted Turner and George McKerrow, the restaurant sits at the entrance of Beechwood’s Paseo project and is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a full bar, an outdoor patio, and a dining room built for settling in rather than rushing through.
“Bringing what we call ‘The Big Sky Spirit’ to Athens has been a longtime goal, and I’m incredibly proud to see it become a reality,” said George McKerrow, Ted’s Montana Grill CEO.
For Polias, this opening is about more than one new restaurant. It’s another step in Beechwood’s ongoing trajectory toward becoming the true town center of Athens that it once was, a place with a rhythm to it, not just a place to stop and shop. Morning coffee runs into afternoon errands, which run into evening dinner, and a real sit-down restaurant is exactly the kind of anchor Beechwood has been missing to hold that whole day. It’s what turns a shopping center into a place families plan around and neighbors run into, morning, day, and night.
Ted’s relentless focus on hospitality made this an especially natural fit. It’s a kindred spirit to what Polias is building at Beechwood as a whole: a place where every guest feels genuinely welcome and at home from the moment they arrive.
We are excited to welcome Ted’s Montana Grill to Beechwood and to see this vision continue to take shape. Meet a friend for coffee, spend the afternoon browsing the shops, and stay for dinner. That’s the kind of day Beechwood was always meant to hold.
Next time you are at Beechwood, make Ted’s Montana Grill part of the trip.
