Electric Pilates Studio Opens June 1 in the Heart of Athens
May 25, 2022 — Athens, Ga.— Polias Management announces the grand opening of PUSH Pilates at 700 Baxter St., Ste. 300 on June 1.
Founded by Anna Ray in 2022, PUSH is a high intensity Pilates reformer workout that focuses of toning and strengthening the body while embracing the addictive burn of Pilates.
Ray, born in Louisiana and raised in Los Angeles, now lives in Athens with her family. She spent her early life in the entertainment industry as a child actress and sees her role as a fitness instructor a natural fit.
“My goal is for PUSH clients to enjoy themselves and see results,” said Ray. “When I found Seven Hundred Baxter and met Dave and the Polias team, I knew they would help make my vision a reality.”
Unlike a traditional Pilates experience, each class at PUSH features cutting-edge LED lighting and instructor crafted playlists, with each workout embodying HIIT elements.
PUSH joins Slutty Vegan, Surcheros, Newk’s Eatery, Choco Pronto Coffee, Wild Side Smoke Shop, and University Spirit in the recently renovated Seven Hundred Baxter development.
Formerly a nondescript retail strip center, Seven Hundred Baxter recently underwent a major renovation and received the Historic Athens Preservation Award in the category of Outstanding Revitalization. The project lies seconds away from the intersection of Baxter and Milledge in the heart of Athens and features a modern facade, updated spaces, outdoor seating, and new walkways.
